V5A - THE FUTURE OF THE VIA FERRATA
STORY
2006 we developed our Via Ferrata System with the highest
technical standards by order of the German development
assistance project for Fogo/Cape Verde.
It was very important for us to stick to the design and
functionality of the classic Via Ferrata system, but to
wipe out the „imperfection“ and source of danger of the
existing Via Ferratas.
The development of the new Via Ferrata technique is
revolutionary, because it eliminates the obvious dangers
of the classic Via Ferrata material and workmanship.
Via Ferratas in Europe are mainly bolted with standard
material, which you can find in any hardware store.
Depending on the location of the Via Ferrata and the
used material, corrosion is one of the main problems
in time.
The V5A-Via Ferrata System is great for alpine landscapes,
climbing gyms, service in industry and private usage because
of the flexibility of the material and fields of application.
Several thousand meters of installed systems proved their
quality and usability in more than 4 years of daily use.

No edges on the V5A-SafeguardingSystem.
All engaged bolts are headless screws.
The system works perfect without
any nuts, clamps or clips.
You can belay directly on the ladder system
without any other safeguarding systems.
The mounting method of the cable run
and the ladder are customizable for any area.
We just use stranded cables (7x7).
